Renowned director and playwright Roysten Abel highlighted the genuine curiosity of the Bengaluru audience for new experiences, distinguishing it from other cities. Teaming up with ace percussionist Ranjit Barot, he is all set to showcase an audio-visual performance titled "Beat Route" that will bring together 10 master folk percussionists from Rajasthan and Kerala this weekend in the city. Describing the show as an "earthy, high-spirited electro experience," Roysten emphasized the importance of creating a fresh and enjoyable experience for both himself and the team without any contrived elements. He expressed excitement about collaborating with talented musicians to craft something truly unique. Roysten also discussed the evolving audience landscape, highlighting the enduring appeal of stage productions and the challenge of engaging individuals with shorter attention spans. Drawing inspiration from his personal experiences, Roysten emphasized his approach of creating distinct music and experimenting with novel ideas rather than imitating others.The event will take place at Chowdiah Memorial Hall on October 5th at 5 pm.
